HIGH SCHOOL -- Members of Attleboro's Student Advisory Council told the School Committee on Oct. 5 that school spirit has been "coming in a lot higher" this fall, pointing to sports as a driver. Council members said recent games against Bishop Feehan drew large crowds from both schools. Senior Olivia Leonardo recorded her 500th career kill in a recent volleyball match, and senior Megan Huntington reached 500 career goals on the field hockey side, according to the council's report to the committee.
YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Attleboro White Hawks are hosting a food and personal care item drive as part of a community give-back effort, Patch reported.
