ATTLEBORO — The Attleboro Municipal Council voted 8-0 Thursday to clarify funding for the Brennan-Wamsata door project. Acting Council President Laura Dolan convened the special session under the city's home rule charter after wording needed fixing in vote number 16 from the council's June 23 regular meeting. Councilor Delisio's amended order restated approval of $78,847.79 in remaining bond proceeds for the Brennan and Wamsata front door system replacements, plus transfers of $56,675.19 and $20,180 between city accounts.
Delisio called the second vote "unnecessary" since the matter "was read in the committee" and "in the mayor's communication that same night," but said the council would "err on the side of caution." Angelo, Waterman, Sawyer, McIntyre, Holmes, Morrissey, Delisio and Dolan all voted yes, and the council adjourned immediately after.
